Pakistan U16 volleyball team - PVFKARACHI: Pakistan defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0 in their opening match of the Asian U16 Volleyball Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Saturday. Pakistan won the match with a scoreline of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-16. 
	
		
	
Pakistan’s next match in the event, which includes 12 teams, is against Mongolia on Monday. Earlier, Iran beat Pakistan 3-2 to win the Central Asian U16 Volleyball Championship at home on Wednesday. After an exciting contest, Iran won the final by the scores of 25-20, 25-27, 25-18, 21-25, and 15-11. The home side grabbed Gold after winning the final whereas Pakistan managed to get Silver. "Talal Ahmad has been recognised as the best setter of the CAVA U-16 Volleyball Championship. His exceptional skills, precise sets, and strategic plays have been instrumental in the success of the team," said Pakistan Volleyball Federation."Muhtad Ali Shah has been recognised as the Best Spiker in the CAVA U-16 Volleyball Championship!
